i guess you lot are right, i should get a UKARA license before i try anything, however to get into the WW2 spirit i may buy an m14/m1 garand conversion kit which is legal for me because its just parts i believe.

i may be wrong, its just i thought i was able too... and to be perfectly honest id rather own an expensive airsoft gun that a cheaper 9mm pistol (for example), one is non lethal (if used correctly) however the other is lethal in every sense.

PS 50 cal looks awesome mate, so does the V1 and flak88, the V1 could be used as an objective for a brit raid ( as i think british commandos did assault rocket positions in france)

50 cal looks awesome, id hate to have to assault that thing  and seeming as i have almost no experience with building WW2 airsoft guns.......i should start with something simple like the .30 cal to get used to it.....when i can legally do it of course

The "UKARA license" thing is bollocks. If anyone tells you that you need to be on the UKARA database, tell them they're talking shite

To satisfy the conditions of the "Airsoft defence" you have to be an "Airsoft skirmisher" (as much as we know at the moment, given that the defence to date has not been tested in court) the way to prove it is to be a member of an Airsoft site that has relevant insurance for the activity. UKARA scheme is just a way of making life much easier for retailers to prove that they are selling to someone whose a legitimate skirmisher. It is not the be-all and end-all.

mm could form a scenario around that, the allies have to capture it before it gets from point A to point B
